Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the 1980s were a pretty high-larious decade. From Ronald Reagan to “The Karate Kid,” the decade’s legacy is generally regarded as easy to ridicule, an era built on ugly clothes (hello Don Johnson!), uglier hairstyles (hello mullet!) and shitty pop music (hello Don Johnson!). None the less, it’s a decade we love — for all this and more. And a stroll through Flickr’s images tagged with “1980s” is a pretty fascinating trip. Here’s the best of what we found:
