Last night we went to see Chuck Klosterman read from his new book “.” His new book’s great, as are his previous two, “” and “.” If you’re not down with Chuck book’s, you’re missing out. They’re pop culture mixed with memoir, and they’re very funny. Along with his books, he’s also a writer at Spin and Esquire. Anyway, here’s what we learned during the reading:

• If you close your eyes when he’s talking, he sounds just like Quentin Tarantino
• He likes minotaurs
• His last name is pronounced Close-terman, not Closs-terman
• He knows more than we do about music
• He’s been mentioned twice on “The OC”
• He once got stoned by dumping shake onto his car cigarette lighter and inhaling the smoke through a straw
